Are you painting?

DL: "Yes!" Me:"What are you working on?" DL: "We had a lot of snow here this winter. I was out and painted on location at a favorite spot of mine for walks, coming back with the easel to catch the light. I'm working on five landscape paintings of the snow. They are all very different from one another. And I'm doing a study of trees that I'm very drawn to this spring."

Captured Trees

Deanne Lemley says she's been out painting many times and has been caught painting. People have walked up to ask her what she is doing out on a cold day? Here in the Tri-Cities we have these beautiful sunny days year round. If you wear the right clothes you can stand the chill. Take this spring for example. The weather termperature has been up and down. Shorts in a warm morning followed by a wool sweater for the afternoon as clouds heavy with rain roll across the sky. 30 years support, Vererans - May 04, 2017

Honor VE Day a family tradition

Deanne Lemley AWS NWWS OPA, became a 2017 Honorary Member of Paralyzed Veterans of America this month, for 30 years of support. My Grandmother Lilly Weed also supported the Veterans and donated to the same organization, every year when we celebrated her birthday she would pray for the these men, I was moved by her intense conviction to pray for them.
