Deanne Lemley paints children wonderfully in the Impressionist style. But how does she get them on canvas? First ask the Mother for a play date and put it on the calendar. Gather together some costumes that fit. Order sunshine! Oh, and ask the kid's not to fight & fuss too much while the Artist is painting them.   Meet at the Rose Garden when all those things come together. Weew! Well done!  We at Art Legacy Shop are pleased to see this study by one of her former students from the Redmond Washington studio. DL: "Yes!"  Me:"What are you working on?" DL: "We had a lot of snow here this winter. I was out and painted on location at a favorite spot of mine for walks, coming back with the easel to catch the light. I'm working on five landscape paintings of the snow. They are all very different from one another. And I'm doing a study of trees that I'm very drawn to this spring."
