Veteran blows up vacation decor theme, doubling giclees impact!

A 30 year Air Force Veteran, Beverly makes her home in the Pacific Northwest under the shadow of Mt. Rainier Washington. Her home has a décor theme of peace, tranquility and warm weather colors. She wants to come home from work and feel like she's on vacation. Since Beverly has traveled all around the world and has enjoyed vacations in hot tropical places her giclée choice reflects this. Her home is tasteful, and refreshingly informal.

Cleaning your glass frame requires caution.

Not a good idea to spray glass cleaner on a hanging picture as dribbles will run down glass into the frame and do its damage to your matte board, backing or giclee, all made of paper. Sometimes that is what we spend most of our time doing is untangling a mess. Trying to figure out how to fix water damage to the arches paper. Years of experience doing just that, prevention is the best thing when it comes to cleaning your glass front. If your pictures are encased in glass frame, be cautious of using any liquid that will leave wet...

Making interior changes?

'The Guardian' is an excellent marine choice! Watercolor paint has a freshness. 1. Consider the colors. Are you changing interior wall colors or keeping it the same? Overall color scheme. What do you want the color of the room to be? 2. The Lighting? Artificial light is best, you won't want a giclee in direct sunshine for its preservation. 3. Lastly, hang it at eye level. The 57" rule is the standard eye level gallery's use.
