This is cute of Mom. Deanne Lemley is an amazing human being and not always painting. Mother is a Master Painter in both watercolor and oil winning awards all over the Nation. A little known hobby is ballroom dancing. Here she's hugging her grandson and is so excited to have her family watch the performance. Let me tell you, she is very good, loving every minute of it. One little realizes going through life sketching the things and places our Mother came in contact with. What a wonderful source of inspiration it becomes later on. Also, some become a part of you. Grandma Weed was a proficient gardener while Grandpa had the cattle out back. When we girls came to visit we tried to help out on the farm. Inspired to capture this little help of feeding the cows some scrap corn stalks, Mom set out the easel to paint. I'm sure I wasn't good at weeding the garden but had more fun eating the raspberries and chasing Dixie while the cows looked on. Now this place is gone, as our extraordinary Grandparents we so miss.
