Cleaning your glass frame requires caution.

Not a good idea to spray glass cleaner on a hanging picture as dribbles will run down glass into the frame and do its damage to your matte board, backing or giclee, all made of paper. Sometimes that is what we spend most of our time doing is untangling a mess. Trying to figure out how to fix water damage to the arches paper. Years of experience doing just that, prevention is the best thing when it comes to cleaning your glass front. If your pictures are encased in glass frame, be cautious of using any liquid that will leave wet residue which may seep into the picture and ruin it. If the glass needs cleaning it will appear dull grey. Use a natural glass cleaner and spray on a rag and wipe the glass. White vinegar with water on a dampened cloth will work well.
